To say this session was a joy to photograph is an understatement! My heart was filled to the brim by the end. Tiffany and her daughter, Eva, joined me at Waterfront Park in Grand Rapids, MI on a warm summer morning, and what unfolded was nothing short of special.

Tiffany shared she had never had professional images taken with her daughter before, and I felt absolutely privileged she trusted me with this special milestone.

From the moment we started, Eva’s contagious energy filled the session. Her adoration for her Mom was evident — from insisting on matching outfits to sharing tender moments without prompt. Their connection was effortless, authentic, and a beautiful thing to witness.

This year, Michigan’s summer has been unseasonably warm so we met early in the morning to take advantage of cooler temperatures and soft golden light. Tiffany and Eva were absolute troopers considering the sun rose quick and the heat settled in towards the end of their session! Even with the heat though, their laughter and love took center stage, making every image glow with warmth and connection.
